HELLO! I'm so glad you came over here to my little ME corner.

My life story starts like any other. I was an embryo, then a fetus, then a baby in my mommy's belly. I was overcooked for a week and a half, and I believe that is a valid excuse for the way I am. Haha, just kidding. No..really. I kind of mean it.

Anyway, on with it. I was born in Banja Luka, Bosnia in the great year of 1985. Bosnia is in Europe for the ones of you who don't know World geography quite well. I lived the best childhood I could and after the war ended in 1995, I immigrated to Croatia to be with my father. I moved to one of the homeliest looking towns in the US circa 1997, located in the south central region of Kentucky. 17 years in this crappy little village, and it's still not any better.

I am now 30 32 years old. I survived high school and two colleges with no husband, no kids and a large bragging rate of how much I've grown up since I was born. I have two degrees and a job which exercises neither. My big passion is teaching. I drive a total lemon of a car--(I now drive Herbie). I am ambitious and want to do everything in the world. I am also very lazy and often never finish anything. I still sing in the shower on occasion. I dance and sing joyfully in my car. I enjoy sunshine on my face. I rarely draw anymore. I hardly take pictures. The last time I picked up my crafts was to pack them to move. I want to learn how to cook and have a bunch of DIY projects, but have no idea how or where to begin. I kept swearing 2014 would have been different and meant it, but it was probably one of the most horrible years of my life. 2015? Started off shitty and is ending on an OK note. We shall see. I don't do much. Mostly complain about the ethics of life and morality of people nowadays, but I do it with a certain classiness and humor which my friends and family love me for. 
2016-17? Oh brother. Hello, 2018.

My sanity depends on the people that I have in my life. I have a few friends, my mother and sisters who I treasure; they keep me level headed and ironically drive me crazy often. The most influential people in my life are my family and my best friend Casey; without fail they have always been there for me and I value that so much because who will pick up a phone when you're whiny for a silly reason?

I originally started this blog to write about my explorations of Spain while I was student teaching in Spring of 2012, but the blog continued after I came back home and became my therapy. I am not still in the process of figuring out where I want this blog to do. Fashion? Crafts? Recipes? Pictures? It can be anything. I just have no ideas.

Anyway, I was in Spain in 2012 and spent 4 weeks student teaching. I taught really mouthy and loud 6th graders English. It was the best 4 weeks of my life. I traveled while I was in Spain and enjoyed it thoroughly. It changed my life so much that I am including it into my life story. Although it was only a few weeks, it affected me so much. It helped shape the person I am today. I cannot wait to go back. I cannot wait to travel again.

After Barcelona I traveled to Paris. It changed my life.

I then traveled to Croatia to see my daddy and spent 4 days there. 4 very short days, but was ecstatic to see him.

My life isn't a fairy tale, but it's mine. I own every bit of it. The mistakes, the tears, the sweat, the good and bad times. Some random facts about me:

- I curse. Like a sailor. I try so hard not to do it on the blog, but sometimes it will slip out. Please do not think any less of me.

- I am a very friendly person, but I do not have many friends. My mother says "I can be friends with a door knob", but I am very picky about who I let into my life.

- There are only a few people who know the real me and they truly love my soul

- I speak several languages fluently, and a few I know the basics of.

- I have two sisters and two brothers.

-I have a pup named Stitch who is my heart and soul. I try to be the best mommy and he adores me regardless and I couldn't live without him. He's saved my life on many occasions.

- I have a huge urge to travel the world, but my wallet keeps reminding me "Not yet."
- I love and hate change
- I don't like being alone. My own company bores me. I'm a social butterfly (which doesn't make sense because I don't have many friends)

Anyway, long story short. This is a small part of me.
